Oldest Water Heater Contest Official Rules

PRONTO PLUMBING, HEATING, AIR & DRAINS

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor. Pronto Plumbing, Heating, Air & Drains, 1111 Primrose Ave, Camp Hill, PA 17011 (“Sponsor”).

2. Entry Period. The Contest begins September 15, 2026 at 12:00:00 PM ET (noon) and ends October 31, 2026 at 12:00:00 PM ET (noon) (the “Entry Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeper.

3. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry, who own and reside at a single-family residence located in Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, York, or Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and whose home is served by a conventional tank-style residential water heater. Tankless and hybrid/heat-pump units are not eligible. Employees of Sponsor, Team First Home Services, Grove Mountain Partners, their affiliates and agencies, and the immediate family and household members of each, are not eligible.

4. How to Enter. During the Entry Period, complete the entry form at https://prontoplumbing.com/waterheatercontest/. Each entry requires two (2) photographs of the water heater installed at the entrant’s residence: (a) one photograph showing the full unit in frame, and (b) one close-up photograph in which the manufacturer’s data plate, nameplate, serial number, or manufacture date is clearly legible. Limit one (1) entry per household, per physical address, and per email address. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, altered, or that Sponsor cannot verify may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

5. Winner Determination. Entries will be judged on the verified manufacture date of the water heater shown, as determined from the manufacturer’s data plate or serial number. The entry with the oldest verified manufacture date wins the Grand Prize. The next two (2) oldest verified entries win the 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize, respectively (second-oldest = 2nd Prize, third-oldest = 3rd Prize). In the event of a tie, the entry received earliest wins. Sponsor may request additional photographs or an in-person verification visit before awarding any prize; refusal to permit verification forfeits the prize. Sponsor’s determinations are final and binding.

6. Prizes.

• Grand Prize (1): Installation of one new conventional tank-style residential water heater, of a capacity, fuel type, and model selected by Sponsor to suit the winner’s home, including standard removal and disposal of the existing unit and standard installation labor. Total prize value up to $5,000. Any cost above $5,000, and any work excluded under Rule 7, will be quoted separately and is the winner’s responsibility.
• 2nd Prize (1): One (1) one-year Pronto VIP Membership (1-Year Prepay plan). Approximate retail value $339. Membership will not auto-renew at the end of the term.
• 3rd Prize (1): One (1) one-year Pronto VIP Membership (1-Year Prepay plan). Approximate retail value $339. Membership will not auto-renew at the end of the term.

7. What the Grand Prize Does Not Include. The Grand Prize covers a standard like-for-like replacement only, up to the value stated in Rule 6. It does not include: upgrades in capacity or fuel type, or conversion to a tankless or hybrid unit, beyond what Sponsor selects; permits or inspection fees where required; venting, gas line, water line, electrical, or code-compliance work beyond a standard replacement; asbestos or hazardous material abatement; structural modifications; or any work required to bring the installation location into applicable code or safe working practice. Homes served by polybutylene piping (including the trade names Vanguard and Quest), or by copper, lead, or galvanized piping that Sponsor determines to be unsuitable or unsafe, are excluded from this Contest. Such piping is prone to becoming brittle, cracking, and failing, and cannot safely support a water heater replacement without remediation. Where Sponsor identifies such piping during verification or installation, the entry or prize is forfeited and Sponsor may select the next-oldest verified entry; Sponsor will provide the homeowner a separate quote for remediation.

8. Prize Conditions. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash or substituted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The Grand Prize winner must own the residence where installation will occur, must provide safe and lawful access, and must have the installation completed by January 31, 2027 or the prize is forfeited. Installation is subject to Sponsor’s normal scheduling.

9. Licensing and Insurance. Sponsor is a licensed Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor, PAHIC #161940. All Pronto plumbers and team members performing work under this Contest are covered by Sponsor’s workers’ compensation insurance. Because Sponsor’s personnel are insured under Sponsor’s own coverage, work performed by Sponsor does not typically affect a homeowner’s own insurance policy in the way that work by an uninsured or unlicensed contractor can. Homeowners should consult their own insurer regarding their specific policy.

10. Winner Notification. Winners will be notified by phone and email within two (2) weeks of the close of the Entry Period, on or about November 14, 2026, using the contact information provided at entry. A potential winner must respond within five (5) business days of the first notification attempt and may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and a publicity release. Failure to respond, refusal to sign, or return of a notification as undeliverable results in forfeiture, and Sponsor may select the next-oldest verified entry.

11. Taxes. All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner. The Grand Prize exceeds the $600 IRS reporting threshold; the Grand Prize winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 and must provide a valid Social Security number or Taxpayer Identification Number to Sponsor for that purpose. 2nd and 3rd Prizes are below the threshold and are not reported.

12. Publicity. Except where prohibited, entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use each entrant’s submitted photographs, first name, last initial, and city in advertising and promotional materials, in any medium, without further compensation, notice, or approval. Winners grant Sponsor the right to photograph and record the prize installation for the same purposes.

13. Privacy. Information collected is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at prontoservice.com. Entry information may be used to contact entrants about Sponsor’s products and services where consent has been given. Consent to marketing communications is not required to enter or win.

14. General Conditions. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted entries, or for technical failures of any kind. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs its integrity, and in such case may award prizes among eligible entries received prior to the impairment. Any attempt to deliberately damage the website or undermine the Contest is a violation of law, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies to the fullest extent permitted.

15. Release. By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, Team First Home Services, Grove Mountain Partners, and their respective affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

16. Disputes. The Contest is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cumberland County or Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

17. Platform Disclaimer. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram), Google LLC, or any other social media or advertising platform. Entrants release these platforms completely.

18. Winners List. For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Sponsor address above by January 31, 2027.
